CUTE BABY GIFT
I know it's not a sign, but here's a cute baby shower gift I wanted to share. The baby shower was near Easter. Each plastic egg is filled with little girl baby socks and tights (pink, white, gray, etc.). The note on the card says "For Mama and Her Baby Chick". Wrap the egg crate in a cute bow and wala! Easy, cute, and inexpensive...

BURKE
If I could have, I would have given signs to everyone on my Christmas list this year... but this special request was for my sister-in-law Amy. She wanted a sign to go over the door leading to her kitchen. Since her furnitue is dark wood and the walls are cream and chocolate-brown, this was a perfect match! I'm happy to say she liked it so much, I'm now making signs for her two-year old little boy and new baby girl on the way.

My next sign was another wedding gift. In October, our friends BJ and Sarah were getting married. Since they live in Colorado, I had no idea what colors would work best for their apartment. So once again I designed their sign around the wedding invitation. It turned out perfect! Green is Sarah's favorite color, and I've since been told it was one of their favorite wedding gifts. And I must admit it's one of my favorites too!
MY FIRST SIGN
My first sign was a wedding gift for my cousin Marcie in August 2009. Making the sign was a bit of a challenge... getting familiar with finding the right size of wood, learning how to transfer the vinyl letters, choosing the paint colors, etc. BUT it turned out beautiful. I chose colors to match the wedding invitation, and she liked it so much she put in on display at the wedding reception!
WELCOME
My name is Jessicah and welcome to my blog. A few years ago, my creative sister-in-law gave me my first personalized name sign... and I absolutely loved it. So I learned how to make my own and found that the possibilities were endless. Name "signs" make the perfect (and unique) wedding, anniversary, or baby shower gift! My goal is to share my experience with each new sign I make and hopefully spread the word!
